I see a Tarot reading as a conversation that is enhanced by the use of the cards. Tarot can provide an overview of current trends, and gives insight into such areas as romance, finance, education, spirituality, employment and more. The Tarot can grant an expanded view of one's current situation, and offer advice and solutions on solving any problems that reveal themselves.
The future is not set in stone, and therefore the Tarot does not divine the future. It can reveal likelihoods, show cause and effect, impart advice, reveal opportunities and uncover hidden aspects of an issue, providing a greater perspective on any given situation.
Tarot does not perform miracles, give out winning lottery numbers, bring back your ex boyfriend or toss money into your lap. It can, however, give advice on what steps you can take toward a more fulfilling love life, or a better employment situation.
How I Roll:
I prefer to tailor every reading to the client. The reading you receive will depend a great deal on your situation and your needs. You may simply want a general reading with an overview of the various areas of your life. Or you may have a specific question to ask, or specific problem you want help with. We can do an in-depth exploration of a single issue, or you can ask a long string of quick yes-or-no questions.
Please expect some give and take, and some conversation. If you phone me up with a chip on your shoulder and dead silence, I won't be accepting your request for a reading (and you will not be charged for the call).
Please expect me to ask a few questions, particularly your birth-date and place, and your birth time if you know it. I like to augment my readings with a little astrological overview. Transits can be very revealing as to current and future trends. I do not do quickie horoscopes based on the sun sign. Any astrological work I do is based on your full natal chart.
And by all means, feel free to ask me questions. I want you to be happy with your reading and come away with useful advice, and communication is key to making that happen.
The deck I use most is the Alchemical Tarot. I find it to be a clear, comfortable and balanced deck. I may on occasion choose a different deck, based on your query, and you are always free to request a certain deck. A few of the decks I have available are the Thoth Tarot, the Quantum, the Lunatic, and the Bohemian Gothic. Each has a specific personality, so feel free to inquire about them.
Acquiring a Reading
Currently, I'm running an informal Tarot marathon called Tarot for Sammiches. I'm giving readings for a suggested donation of the price of my favorite sandwich (with fries), which equals $7.64. Donations aren't necessary, but are much appreciated.
